Brent Kennedy enjoyed a wonderful musical performance today by “The Devils You Don’t” including BKE alumni, Clint Swanson. A special thank you to the Osprey Foundation & Selkirk Pro Musica for making this possible and helping School District #8, Kootenay Lake celebrate and promote the importance of music in our schools.

This school concert was presented by the Selkirk Concert Society (Selkirk Pro Musica). It is one of six school presentations given throughout the district during the school year. Selkirk Pro Musica also presents a series of evening concerts in Nelson throughout the year.  This was an interactive concert as the musicians introduced each other to the audience and talked about their instruments and songs.  Our students had some very interesting and thoughtful questions at the end of performance and were an incredibly respectful (and engaged!) audience.
