Good Afternoon Brent Kennedy Families,

What a balmy week it was!  Unfortunately, that means icky snow, clogged drains, puddles and just a feeling of blah! As sent in a previous email today, we hope to have the field open sometime this week as the Operations crew work to install the new septic tanks.  Our students are super excited to get back to making their creations and sledding on the hill.

Next week, our intermediate students are going downhill skiing at Red Mountain on February 7.  Hopefully they get some nice fresh powder. Keeping our fingers crossed.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. McRann directly at justin.mcrann@sd8.bc.ca or call the school at 250-359-7292.

Next Friday, February 9, our PAC will be hosting a family bingo night.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m., bingo goes from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.There will a bake sale, concession and silent auction.  We hope to get a full house!  If you have any questions, please contact the PAC directly at pacbrentkennedy@gmail.com

PAC is excited to offer families a chance to purchase a school spirit t-shirt.These are the same t-shirts PAC provided to all students & staff in June, 2023. Look for the yellow order form that is coming home today. The choices are light blue, medium blue and dark blue.

Thanks to all of you who have completed your criminal record checks.  Please make sure you have also completed the district volunteer package as well and I will keep it in the file. It’s great to see so many parents/guardians interested in taking part in school activities!
