Good Morning Brent Kennedy Families!

Lots of fabulous things have been happening around our school!  Special thanks go out to our PAC for their organization of the Art Cards for Kids fundraiser.  These cards will be back well in time to be sent out for Christmas!

Today you should have received an email regarding the expectations around Halloween.  If you are unsure about your child's costume, just give me a call at the school and we can chat.

Soon, you will be receiving some information around bullying.  Mr. Giles and I have been working on a student survey as well as a page on disciplinary procedures.  These will be sent home for your review so you are well aware of what we are doing with the students at school.  If you have any feedback, please feel free to contact either of us.

Our Adopt a School was a huge success and we raised $2500 towards new books/supplies for our school/library.  Thank you to those of you who donated!

Just a friendly reminder that school photos will be taken on Friday, October 14.  We will be starting with the youngest students and working our way up to the intermediate classes.

A big thank you goes out to Mr. McRann for organizing the Terry Fox Run.  We seem to exceed our previous year's donations every year!  Also a big thank you to the teachers and students who participated!

Another reminder that the PAC meeting will be taking place on Monday, October 17 in the library.  An agenda will be coming home today.

Special thanks to Ms. Hopper for organizing the events for Orange Shirt Day.  I heard the feather activity was a huge success!

Lastly, our Scholastic Book Fair is taking place October 18-20.  Families are welcome to come in to the library after school on those days to shop for books.  In addition, individuial classes will have a chance to come and walk through the book fair and create their wish lists.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school.

I am happy to be transitioning back into my role as Principal,  Thank you to those of you who wished me well.  Your thoughts were very much appreciatred.
