Brent Kennedy Elementary School
Parent and Family Weekly Update
April 28 – May 2 2025
I am very excited to officially announce that Brent Kennedy will be receiving a new playground during the 2025 – 2026 year. The new playground will replace what is currently the “blue playground” at the back of the school. Big thanks to the SD8 Operations department, the Brent Kennedy PAC and Green Roots Playgrounds for making this project possible. We are excited to be able to “dress up” our school with a beautiful, and modern new playground!
Big thanks to Ms. Long for hosting another awesome book fair this week!
Also, thanks to all of our families who came to the school for parent conferences this week, and to all of our teachers for hosting parents in the classrooms! I was great to connect with many of you as you were in and out of the school.
We were so fortunate to have beautiful weather and sunshine for today’s class pictures.
Please see announcements below for upcoming new this week.
