Brent Kennedy Elementary School
Parent and Family Weekly Update
January 26-30 2026
We are heading into the final week of January and are grateful for positive energy and focus that we’re seeing from many of our Brent Kennedy students across the school. Thank you to our families for your continued partnership as we support our learners during this busy winter season filled is many outdoor activities and class trips!
The BK PATH word for January has been ACCOUNTABILITY. The meaning of ACCOUNTABILITY including what it looks like, feels like and sounds like at school was discussed with students at our January Celebration Assembly through picture book and whole school question and answer. ACCOUNTABILITY has also been a term that has been highlighted in classrooms throughout the month and reflected upon by students throughout the school day. Please feel free to review the BK PATH acronym with your child at home and ask them what each letter looks like, feels like and sounds like at school!
The Student Learning Survey is now open for ALL parents to complete. See link in the announcements below.
Thank you to the families who have already paid the winter activity fees, including any required skate, helmet, or ski rentals. If you have not yet submitted payment for your child’s winter activities or rentals, please contact the school for payment information. Payments can be made online at:
