Parent and Family Weekly Update

November 18 - 22 2024

A theme at this months celebration assembly was honesty. Students were acknowledged for the good work that they are doing in the areas of ownership and honesty. Equipping our students with the skills and tools that they need to overcome challenges and take ownership for their learning and behaviors, is an important part of their education and development. It allows students to develop greater levels of resiliency and increases their problem solving abilities.

One of my greatest joys as a Principal, is to help students work through challenging situations, and utilize them as an opportunity for great learning and growth. I stress to all our students the importance of honesty and integrity in their dealings with others at school. This not only benefits individuals but helps to create an overall school culture and climate of connectedness, respect and community. It is so special to see our students coming together to help each other make good choices and take ownership for their actions. And with that, it is important that students feel celebrated and acknowledged for the progress that they make, no matter how big or how small!

There are only a few announcements this week!
