Principal's Weekly Update : October 13-17 2025
Brent Kennedy Elementary School
Parent and Family Weekly Update
September October 13 - 17 2025
At our celebration assembly this past week, we introduced our new PBIS acronym : the Brent Kennedy PATH, which stands for Peacefulness, Accountability, Thoughtfulness, and Humility. These four values represent the core of who we are and what we strive for as a school community.
Throughout the year, students will be learning what each of these values looks like, sounds like, and feels like at school. We encourage families to talk about these values at home as well, and to notice and celebrate when your child demonstrates them in their daily life.
Peacefulness, Accountability, Thoughtfulness, and Humility. These are the values that will help guide us all along the right path… the Brent Kennedy PATH!
Featured in this weeks newsletter is a photo of “Apple Day” in the multi age and grade 5/6 class. Apple Day stations included apple adjectives, apple nachos, apple art, apple tasting and apple juice making!
As we head into a Thanksgiving long weekend, we can share in all that we have to be grateful for as a school community including, our students, the staff who care for them, and our families who work hard to support them throughout the year.
Wishing you all a restful Thanksgiving weekend filled with gratitude and peace.
